As 2023 draws to a close, I want to tell all the fine residents of Golf Lakes how much I enjoy managing this wonderful park. As the snowbirds return, I am getting to experience my “first season.”
Be sure to attend the Communication Meeting on Monday, December 4th at 7:00 in the Clubhouse. The topic will be the proposed 2024 Budget and you will be able to ask any questions you may have about the proposed budget. The Board will then vote on ratification.
With the budgeting behind us, this month we will adopt and send out information and new coupon books for the 2024 maintenance fees. Maintenance fees are due January 1, 2024, and there are three ways to pay: Check, ACH or Online.
With more people in the park, remember it is best to Walk Left and Bike Right. If you are out before sunrise, please carry a flashlight and wear a vest or high visibility clothing. Safety is everyone’s responsibility.
We hope that all enjoy the improvements to the pool which include new tile, coping, and interior finish as well as new filtration systems and automation that should make keeping things up and running a snap.
The Storm Ready Tie-Down Program reports their return to Golf Lakes. We hope their work is underway by the time this is published. This program is government funded and while the Association is coordinating the collection of applications from residents, we do not have any involvement in the work, timing, or schedule by the Storm Ready crews. As we get updates or information to share, we will communicate through email with residents.
To take full advantage of digital communication, please make sure your most current email address has been provided to the office. If you are not receiving our email blasts, please contact us to be added to our distribution list. We are working to put more forms online for your convenience and hope to make some improvements with the way we use technology very soon.
Instead of buying a gift this holiday season, consider donating to the Beatification Committee’s Veterans’ Park project in their name instead. It will be a wonderful improvement to the park for all to enjoy. For more information contact Steve Pandiscio.
The office wishes you all a joyous holiday season and Happy New Year.
