It is hard to believe that it is already April! I think the older we get the faster time goes by. April is the month that many of our residents go back north for the summer months.
I have a lot of residents ask how to operate the call box at the main gate. Each resident’s name is in the call box directory with a code rather than their phone number attached. When you have time, go to the call box, and look up your name in the alphabetical listing. Behind your name is the 4-digit code that your guests need so please write this code down and keep it. If you have someone wanting to enter our main gate after 6 PM you can give them the code number or have them look it up on the listing at the call box. Using the number pad at the call box; instruct them to type in this 4-digit code and the phone number you have in the system will ring (your phone). You answer the call and verify the caller’s identity and then touch the 9 on your phone. That signals the gate to open, and your guest can drive into the park. They will have 10 seconds to drive through after the gate is fully open. Then the gate will close.
The month of April about wraps up all the winter activities for winter season. The Banner will have any remaining activities listed. There will be two more Board Meetings in April. They are scheduled for the second and fourth Thursday morning at 9 AM in the Board Room. The meetings will resume in October, again on the second and fourth Thursday of the month October through April.
