Happy New Year everyone. I am hoping this will be a good year for all of us.nnDuring this month’s Communications Meeting the candidates for the Board will be and introduced, and they will all be asked several questions. As I write this letter there are 5 candidates for these 3 openings. You will have the opportunity you see them and hear their answers to the questions they will be asked. You will vote in your election packet and the results will be announced at the February meeting.nn If you have any problems with the lawn mowing/trash pickup crew, please contact thenoffice or a board member. You, as a resident, should not be talking to these contractors. They work for the Association, not you as an individual.nnJust a reminder. Page 11 in your directory has the section covering Vehicles, Traffic and Trailers. nRule #1 states “Speed limit for all vehicles is fifteen (15) miles per hour.” Too many residents and/or guests are seen speeding every day. With the number of people who are walking or riding bicycles, anyone speeding runs the risk of hitting someone. We do not want this to happen. For those folks who are out walking early or late or riding your bicycle, you should be in a reflective vest, light colored clothing, and carrying a flashlight. Your bicycle should have a light front and rear. This will protect you when the light is dim or nonexistent. Please walk, bike, and drive safely.nn Keep your personal property locked up, such as autos, bicycles, golf carts, battery chargers, etc. You are responsible for your own items and your safety. We do get unwanted people in the park at night. No gate or fence or wall will keep everyone out. If you see someone or something, say something. Call the sheriff. They will come into the park and check out the situation.
